A few years back I was attending different music clinics and shows and was lucky enough to have my picture taken with some great musicians that I admire. I thought it would be a cool little addition to my blog.
The first one is when I met Alain Caron after the Mike Stern show on June 27th 2006. For those who don’t know Alain used to be the bass player for the Canadian jazz fusion band UZEB from Montreal. One of the few jazz act of the time to do a world tour. He’s been playing his solo material and with other artists for over a decade now.

This one was a surprise as Tom Morello paid us a visit at the club where I play after his show at The Commodore on Nov 5th 2008 featuring his new solo material. He even came on stage and played a couple of songs. His bass player was there so I didn’t get to play with him unfortunately. For those who don’t know Tom is the guitar player for Rage Against The Machine.

The next day I was attending a bass clinic with Billy Sheehan at Tom Lee on Nov 6th 2008. Always inspiring to have a professional describing his technique and approach to his instrument. For those who don’t know Billy is a bass player that played with Talas, David Lee Roth, Mr.Big and Planet X just to name a few.
