Another good review for Noise Control – The Room At The End Of The Hall from the online music site www.getreadytorock.com

You can find the review on their blog (posted on Wednesday February 16th 2011)

“Canadian trio Noise Control are led by singer/bass player Reggie Hache who, having been playing for over 25 years, has combined a number of his musical influences and styles to create new 7 track album “The Room At The End of The Hall”. Modern rock, grunge, and hard rock are all evident throughout the album.

The combination of Hache’s bass playing with the guitars of Chris Robertson sit nicely on top of Kelly Stodola’s drumming to create a musical canvas ready for the vocals and harmonies to float above- a great example of this is “Breathing Lies”. Opening track “Severed” is bass heavy, but then again it is the bass player’s band!! “Priss” is a prime slice of grunge infused doom.

Overall, “The Room At The End of The Hall” is a good album with a dirty great groove to it. I would have liked to have heard more but, that said, this is a good indication of things to come.”

Got a good review from Strutter’zine a Fanzine/Magazine (Printed on paper and on the internet) from Holland.

NOISE CONTROL is a band from Vancouver, Canada, formed around bassist/singer REGGIE HACHE. He is the main leader of the band, recorded 7 tracks for this CD along with guitarist CHRIS ROBERTSON and drummer KELLY STODOLA. The sound is typical independent and also a bit modern, but thanks to Reggie’s very strong vocalwork and some enjoyable songs, this is in the end still a pretty good little record filled with music that can be classified as slightly modern sounding Melodic Progressive Metal. (Points: 8 out of 10)
